What would you highlight about Valletta Dream Penthouse

Tremendous view of the Grand Harbour from the large comfortable apartment but 72 steps with no lift.

There is a tremendous view of the Grand Harbour from the large balcony. We could see all the little gondolas, large ships, superyachts, giant cruise liners and fortifications. The nighttime view is spectacular. The apartment is in Valletta centre close to numerous restaurants, cafes, shops and sights. Valletta is largely pedestrianised with very little road traffic. The apartment is very spacious with two large double bedrooms and huge dinning and lounge areas. The gondolas were only 2 euro single ticket although Valletta is more interesting than anything in walking distance on the other side. The Valletta Food Market is best for provisions and is reasonably close but difficult with heavy water bottles. Remember to walk up the steps on Triq Sant Orsla to reach the flat town centre rather than down and up the steep streets. The Barrakka lift is just 1 euro. England had rain all week in November while Malta had brilliant sunshine and 25C temperatures. The blinds and air con are essential. Cheers Bar on St Lucia’s Street was a relaxing stop on the way back each and every night.

There is no lift. The apartment is on the third floor with 72 steps. This will keep you fit. The taxi needs to drop you off at the intersection of Triq Sant Orsla and Melita St. Then there is a short walk down 50 steps to the blue front door. Our taxi dropped us off short at the far end of Triq Sant Orsla which is a long steep hike. The airport has a taxi booth with fixed prices while our return Bolt taxi was half the price. There are no electric sockets near the dinning table which meant working uncomfortably with a laptop on the settee. The dinning and lounge areas are separated by two steps and an unprotected drop. Be careful at night. The hot water is 100C. This is wasteful and painful. Be careful to turn on the shower cold water first (right hand control anticlockwise) and then a little hot (left hand control clockwise). The street door lock is very small and stiff. Only two of us could turn the knob. The boat trips from Valletta are limited. Most are from the other side of the harbours which are difficult to reach. Valletta has more than enough sights for a week in the ancient old town. We took a sightseeing bus trip around half the island but the 25 km journey from the aquarium was 1:40 being stuck in the evening rush hour. We therefore decided to take the afternoon airport taxi an hour earlier from the Cheers Bar.

Family exploring valletta for husbands 60th birthday

Booked this apartment to end our family holiday exploring the beautiful city of valleta.The street was absolutely beautiful the view and balcony was absolutely outstanding day and night. The contact was very responsive , David organised our return cab amd sorted out a small issue we had. Highly recommend this accommodation for accessibility to everything in the city. Amazing restaurants and bars in 5 minute walking. All beds were comfortable. Everything we needed was there. So incredibly grateful to host and David for making our stay magical. The sunrise is magical from balcony Definitely would like to return. Thanku again

Stunning view in Valletta

The best location to stay in Valletta with a stunning view on the Three cities from the terrace. Would definitely book it again!

It could be cleaner. If the penthouse was slightly renovated and updated (in particular bathroom) I would be without any complaints.

Great location, the accommodation was close to everything. The view from the terrace was amazing.

Wifi didn't work. There was no response from the landlord. That was wrong!!!
